A bit about me

I'm Joe Gray, a disciplined filmmaker striving to build compelling narratives to grip audiences.

Based in Hampshire and shaped by my training at Pinewood Studios, I build stories through stunning visuals, by utilising my strong creative direction and knowledge.

I’ve worked across short films, documentaries and commercial projects, learning how to capture raw human emotion whether I’m directing a scene or operating the camera. I am driven by the desire to constantly learn and expand my skillset so that I am always delivering quality content on time.

I take every project as a chance to refine my visual language, explore the human truth, and collaborate with other creatives to build projects that work.

  • Whilst I am still early on in my career, I have a wide range of experience working on both personal projects and commercial projects for brands like Jo Malone and Alpha Capital Group.

  • Primarily, I specialise in Directing and Cinematography for film and documentary but I am also open to working on other projects including adverts and promotional content.
